Congratulations Regiment Cadets, Batch Masigasig

Congratulations to the Cadets of Masigasig for completing their training in the Seacrest Foundation Maritime Regiment!

A personal message to Batch Masigasig:

It gives me great pride and joy to be able to provide this site to you all and your families. My only regret is that I couldn’t help sooner. I can’t begin to express how happy and excited I am for you all. The graduation festivities of Batch Masigasig were incredible.

My family, especially my Mother, kept telling me amazing stories about each and every one of you. They told me about all of the hardships that you all have had to endure and all the struggles that each of you have made it through. When I finally arrived in Cebu, my family pointed each of you out to me one by one. “That’s the cadet that I was telling you about,” so on and so forth. I felt like I personally knew each of you without having even met you. I was in awe with all of you at the first graduation practice I was able to attend. I was so amazed that from then on, I always wanted to be around the regiment, finding out as much as I could in the short time that I had.

Upon graduation day, my emotions, as well as my families were at their limit. I was exhilarated to see you all graduate. Seeing you all come up on stage one at a time to greet my Mother and receive your diplomas was almost too much for me to handle. I was so happy and proud, knowing that you were all moving on to bigger and better ventures with such bright futures ahead of you. I wish I could’ve stood next to my Mother to at least shake hands with every one of you. Although, I did my best to greet you all after the ceremony.

Cadets of Masigasig, congratulations! I wish you good health and happiness! I will continue to help you all and the regiment the best way I know how. This site is the first of many. Be sure to visit often and look at all of our connections on the right side of the page. It’s still in it’s very early stages, but my little sister (Victoria Aznar) and I will be working diligently to get and keep it updated. The next posts will be interviews of cadets from Masigasig! I’ve asked Viel to hand out interview questions to a few of you before you all leave. If you’d like to be featured here on the regiment blog, please let her or my Mother know and we’ll make it happen. Congratulations again, God speed!
